Curioso Communications is a strategic marketing and communications firm founded by Kerry Henderson. Kerry spent 25 years working her way up through the ranks of a Top 100 PR firm starting her career as a junior account executive. Eventually she became an agency owner who managed an 85+ person office with oversight over the strategy and execution of clients of all sizes and scale. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, small and mighty start-ups, non-profits and those in between, providing the same commitment and attention to detail to each.  


Kerry created Curioso Communications so she could do what she enjoys most...find effective and creative communications solutions for client partners. This involves working hand-in-hand forming strategy, developing effective messaging, navigating challenges and amplifying opportunities. Her business model allows her the flexibility to tap into a network of skilled subject-matter experts to maximize efficiencies and deliver results.

  • Kerry’s personal mantra is Responsiveness. Results. Respect. Those traits drive how she approaches life. 
     

  • At the start of 2021 she joined the Me Fine Foundation Board of Directors, an incredible non-profit that provides emotional support and financial assistance to families whose children are receiving care at partner hospitals.

  • As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kerry is a spirited UNC fan in good times and in bad.  During basketball season, you’ll often find her in the Dean Dome cheering on her beloved Tar Heels!

​

  • Her favorite place to be in the summer is at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia with her family.  She learned to swim and fish there when she was a child and recognizes how fortunate she is that her children are getting a chance to experience the same wonder.
     

  • Kerry most enjoys the weekend rush of her daughter’s soccer games, her son’s basketball games, and spending quality with her family. One of her favorite things to do after a full day of activities is to sit on her screened porch to unwind with her husband Travis and their rescue dog Katy.
